Jim E. Flowers
Let us go to a cool quiet place
With mountains and pine trees
Where no man has left a trace,
And life goes on at a slower pace;
And breathe air from a clean breeze.
God’s pristine beauty restores our sanity
Making us wonder, how can we preserve
The beauty and majesty of a scene so pretty?
God let us keep this place for eternity
And never forget the one we serve.
Make us aware of the rules
So we might not sin against you God.
The water here refreshes and cools.
Let us serve you and not be fools
For this place is no façade.
Every time we see the sun rise,
May we glorify the One who made us
Praying He will make us wise.
Heaven won’t be a surprise
For those who know Jesus.
