September 17-20, American Christian Fiction Writers National Conference: www.acfw.com
October 8-9, James River Writers: www.jamesriverwriters.org
October 16, RCWW Saturday Writers Workshop - Details to follow.
ATTENDANCE & MEMBERSHIP DOWN - A message from our Founder
This news should not come as a shock to anyone. The economy is slowing every thing down, but PTL we’re still moving forward and open for business - the Lord’s Writing Business. But I do have a concern, and hopefully RCWW may help you accomplish your role and goal as a writer.
Money is tight, but RCWW has a scholarship program in effect. A former member, Donna Rogers (before her writing vacation took her out of the area) made the first donation to The Donna Rogers Scholarship Fund.
As founder, and now co-director of RCWW, I reserve the right to award these scholarships without peer or committee approval. If you need help to maintain full membership let me know. There is no stigma in asking for help. Remember, you benefit RCWW as much as RCWW benefits you. We all lose if a tight budget from time to time prevents you from sharing your expertise with others. E-mail or call.
DUES-Scholarships
Annual dues are payable January 1st, $25 per year. Mail checks to: Richmond Christians Who Write, 12114 Walnut Hill Dr., Rockville, VA 23146.
