EARLY NOTICE for OCTOBER MEETING
Instead of our regular Sunday afternoon meeting, RCWW will host our First Annual Family Covered Dish Dinner, Saturday, October 14, 2006, 5:30 PM at Winn's Baptist Church, 12320 Winn's Church Road, Glen Allen, VA 23059. (Take the Montpelier Exit off Rte. 295 (Rte. 33), pass Tyson Chicken, turn right on Rte. 660 (Winn's Church Road) go approx. 2 miles. The church will be on your left.)
In order to properly provide for all who will attend, you must R.S.V.P. by calling Tom Lacy, 749-4050 or e-mailing RevTCL@aol.com. DO NOT CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE.
Yvonne Ortage, cancer survivor, musician, speaker and author, will share her story of surviving cancer and how this led to writing her book, Hope for the Journey through Cancer (Revell 2007). As a writer you will want to hear how this all came together, and your family will want to hear her faith testimony. This promises to to be an evening of good food and great Christian fellowship you will not want to miss!
Your committee needs help setting up the dining room, setting out the food, preparing the beverages and putting things back in place. Please call me if you can help with these details. Thank you.
Look forward to seeing you and meeting your family on October 14th.
