Rev. Dr. Joel Sutton Bio.:
Our speaker next month, Joel Sutton, has an exciting discovery to share. He found that God designed everything in the universe, from the grandest scale to the smallest, utilizing five simple patterns. When we follow these patterns, life unfolds as God intended. The same holds true for our writing.

The Five Master Patterns are key to insuring that our literary creations are well-constructed and capable of communicating God’s truth. Come learn about these five patterns and how they can help your compositions be the best they can be.

Joel Sutton served as a missionary with the International Mission Board for 11 years. He now serves as a Personnel Consultant for prospective missionaries. He counsels them in regard to their readiness for overseas ministry and directs them through the application process.

As a writer, Joel, has seen his devotionals published in *Open Windows*, a devotional quarterly, for the past 10 years. His research theses have been utilized at New York University. He is currently writing a year’s worth of devotionals, all based on the Five Master Patterns. Joel has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary, and a Doctorate of Religious Philosophy.
